A dad learns to braid.
Sometimes I need reminders of how lucky I am, and how good even my bad days are. Tonight that came in the form of Matt Logelin’s tragic but beautiful story of life without his wife. He’s raising his lovely daughter all on his own, and he just recently learned to braid her hair. I have vivid memories of my own dad occasionally doing my hair when I was little, and the story of this day’s triumphant story was too precious not to share.
